Terms of Service

By accessing or using the KHUKHOS website, secure client workspace or any of our financial management services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the platform or our services.

"Platform" means the KHUKHOS website and secure client workspace. "Services" means the financial management services we provide, including bookkeeping, payroll, tax compliance, management accounts and related offerings. "Client" means any business or individual who engages KHUKHOS for the Services.

You agree to use the platform lawfully and only for its intended purposes. You must not misuse the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use the platform to store or transmit unlawful content. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Access to the secure client workspace requires registration and approval. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and onboarding, and keep your information up to date. Workspace access is granted once your registration is approved by KHUKHOS.

The Services we provide and the applicable fees are confirmed in writing through a quotation, proposal or service agreement. Indicative quotes generated through the platform are estimates only and do not constitute a binding offer until confirmed in writing. Fees are quoted in South African Rand and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.

Indicative quotes and proposals are prepared based on the information you provide. Final pricing depends on the scope, complexity and volume of work and will be confirmed in a signed service agreement. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Unless otherwise agreed, fees are billed monthly in advance and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date. Late payments may attract interest and may result in the suspension of services. Disputed invoices must be raised in writing within 7 days of receipt.

You agree to provide timely and accurate information, documents and access necessary for us to perform the Services, including bank statements, payroll information and statutory references. Delays in providing information may affect our ability to meet deadlines, and we are not liable for consequences arising from incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you.

All content, branding, software and materials on the platform are owned by or licensed to KHUKHOS and are protected by intellectual property laws. Reports and deliverables prepared for you are provided for your use and remain subject to our professional obligations.

We treat your financial information as confidential and will not disclose it except where required by law, necessary to provide the Services, or with your consent. We expect clients to similarly respect the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared in the course of the engagement.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from information or documents you fail to provide. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

You agree to indemnify KHUKHOS against claims, losses or damages arising from your misuse of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or inaccurate information you provide, except where caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

Either party may terminate the engagement in accordance with the notice period set out in the service agreement. Upon termination, you remain responsible for fees accrued up to the termination date. We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if these Terms are breached.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Services are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date indicates when the Terms were last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
